It did take us to get our approval of the travel authorization form about 36 hrs- that was a bit nerve racking but all good.ġ. We live in NYC so testing results have been pretty good- within 24 hrs we have got our results via online and calls 72 hours later. I just went thru the process yesterday - flying from JFK (via JetBlue)ġ. Is RIU requiring their guests to wear masks when not in their rooms? I am both surprised and disappointed to learn that the buffet is open? (yuk!). Those resort-based tours usually involve a big bus with lots of people and it may not be worth it for them to do that with only 10 people max. ![]() It was my understanding that the test results had to be uploaded to the Jamocovid app? Did your friends do this? I'd never heard that you need to give them a printed copy of the test results (I'll carry mine with me just in case) but I am a bit surprised that during the screening process it never came up.Īlso not surprised about the no-toour situation. I'm not sure when it changed but "they" (in Jamaica) changed the amount of lead time on the test from 7 to 10 days. Its been all over the news that the state is in dire straights for testing supplies and having terrible backlog att their labs. With Arizona in the clusters*ck it's in I'm not surprised it took longer than a week to get your test results back. ![]()
